WR Fundraising Recruitment is very proud to be working with a charity dedicated to providing support to all unpaid carers, families and the people they care for.

We are looking for an Individual Giving Officer to join this up-and-coming charity, in this new role for the team. You will be working with multiple channels such as; direct mail, social media and more! You will be a crucial part of the team, creating and implementing strategies to attract and retain individual donors, ensuring a steady and growing funding stream for the charity.

The Individual Giving Officer will be supported by a great team, the charity is looking for you to bring in your own ideas and be as creative as you like! You will very much be a self-starter, but have a great team around you.

Key responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Leading on individual giving as a whole and developing appeals to increase income from individual donors
• Implementing donor stewardship and developing regular communications
• Contributing to the development and implementation of an individual giving strategy
• Maximising retention value of donors
• Working with the wider team to seek out new donors and increase support of existing donors
• Producing creative copy and work collaboratively to produce other materials

The ideal candidate for this role will: 

• Have experience of working within individual giving
• Be able to write inspiring and emotive copy for different audiences
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively
• Be an ambitious, highly organised, and proactive fundraising professional
• Focus on solutions, being innovative and creative to overcome challenges
