This amazing institution offers free of charge care that is available to people of any and all backgrounds, and is now looking for someone to join their fundraising team as Legacy and In Memory Lead.

We’re looking for a fundraiser with great experience across Legacies and In Memory to take the reins of these income streams. The Legacy and In Memory Lead will take responsibility for promotional activity, as well as for providing world-class stewardship to ensure an excellent supporter experience and grow the supporter base. The Legacy and In Memory Lead will also work closely with colleagues to coordinate fundraising activity, as well as to help shape fundraising strategies.

This is a brand-new role within the charity, heading up an income stream with huge potential, so this is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Legacy and In Memory fundraiser to take the next step in their career!

Duties will include:

• Leading on promotion and growth of Legacy and In Memory fundraising
• Work with colleagues to plan and deliver the charity’s flagship in memory appeal
• Project managing Legacy and In Memory activity and campaigns, from conception to reporting
• Collaborating with the wider fundraising team to identify opportunities to maximise income

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience of developing and promoting In Memory and/or Legacy fundraising products
• Be creative, with the ability to develop and implement engaging marketing campaigns aimed at new and existing supporters
• Have experience of using a variety of marketing channels to acquire and steward supporters
• Be a compelling and persuasive communicator, able to build and nurture relationships
