We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are thrilled to be working with a high-achieving regional charity which provides advice and services to people suffering from homelessness. This wonderful charity is now seeking a Senior Fundraising Manager to join their team.

As Senior Fundraising Manager, you’ll work closely with the Head of Development to implement the charity’s income generation strategy. We’re looking for a collaborative and strategically-minded fundraiser with solid experience of compiling successful bid and grant applications, from conception right through to reporting, as well as the ability to empower and inspire a team of hardworking fundraisers and volunteers.

This is a pivotal role for the charity, and you’ll take the lead on compiling and submitting high quality applications, from initially researching potential funders right through to reporting. Alongside this, you’ll work with the fundraising team to build and maintain relationships and create a calendar of fundraising events.

Duties will include:

• Working with the Head of Development to implement a robust and sustainable income generation strategy
• Crafting and submitting high-quality funding applications and bids
• Reporting on fundraising activities, both to funders and the board of trustees
• Leading a multi-disciplinary team of fundraisers to create impactful campaigns and build a sustainable network of supporters

The ideal candidate will:

• Have demonstrable experience of income generation, particularly from trusts and foundations
• Be a strategically-minded and collaborative fundraising leader
• Have an understanding of data management and reporting
• Be an inspiring and empowering line manager
